DIY Foyer Accent Wall

This was one of the most memorable moments in our home DIY projects! Our foyer is a very large area. Which is great…but it also means that there is A LOT of wall space to fill. When moving in, I was actually somewhat intimidated by this wall. I was already stressing what in the world we were going to put here.

As you can probably tell, we love patterns. Tribal prints and designs are our thing. I was perusing around on pinterest one day and came across this design that was so simple to do. People were taking sponges, dipping them in paint, and applying this design or other patterns directly on their wall. I was sold! No questions about it, lets get started LOL.

Our main issue was how were we going to reach to the top of the wall on these steps?? Well….

That escalated quickly, huh lol. Aaron will climb on anything to get the job done. I remember posting this to social media years ago and the comments were so concerned that he was going to fall. Aaron does things like this all the time and though it wrecks my nerves as well, I will say that he never fumbles. Check out this reel below of the process!
