Chocolate Chip banana Bread

This chocolate chip banana bread is a comforting treat for breakfast or even dessert.

TOTAL TIME: about 1 hour and 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS

3 ripe bananas

1/3 cup melted butter (salted or unsalted)*

1/2 cup cane sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/3 cup milk*

About 1 cup of chocolate chips (or enough for your liking)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease your desired 2 lb loaf pan and set aside.

  2. Mix bananas, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and milk together in a large bowl until smooth.

  3. Add flour and baking powder to the wet mixture bowl. Mix thoroughly.

  4. Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Add additional chocolate chips on top if you desire. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour or until the middle of the loaf is set and no longer jiggles. Let cool for atleast 30 minutes before slicing, if you can! Enjoy!

  • We recommend using organic ingredients for best results.

  • While butter yields the moistest results, you can substitute butter for coconut oil or olive oil and it will still turn out good.

  • If the batter is too thick and still not easily workable, add more milk until it is a workable consistency.
